The Ensemble Academy is a joint institution of the two internationally renowned and specialized orchestras ensemble recherche and Freiburger Barockorchester.
Both formations are impressive examples of how specialization in one repertoire and a fascination for the new belong together. The search for exciting worlds of sound unites them just as much as the desire for the unknown. The aim of the Ensemble Academy is to combine the two ensembles’ focal points in older and newer music, thus providing a forum for exchange.
